These are announced as 25mm figure covering the 1870-1919 era. In reality they are in the old Airfix scale and originated as conversions thereof recast in metal (an extremely high grade of metal). Figures are available for the 1870 War, horse and foot, for the Imperial German Army in the pre-field gray era (1875-1910) and for both the aufmanschieren and stalhelm parts of WWI. Also available are the enemies and allies - 1870 French, WWI Austrians, French, British, and Russians. Artillery is for the post-1895 era only (shield and recoil mechanism). Alternate heads are available for converting cuirassiers from Prussian to Bavarian, etc. These figures are especially useful for creating special units and building on left over Airfix or current MPC or ESCI armies. I particularly like the Prussian Guard in the full dress of the late 19th Century. More Reviews
