Stone Mountain Miniatures, Inc. has just released some new items for their 15mm Napoleonic range. These include some new artillery pieces, NAP121 British 9# Guns and FR12 French 12# guns. The British guns are single-trail and fairly well detailed. The bolts on the frame are visible but not exaggerated. The gun barrels are fairly cleanly cast except for a bit of flash on the barrel mouth. The wheels, too, are well detailed. The French guns are also well detailed double-trail models that include an ammunition chest. The models re-ceived had a good bit of flash on the barrels especially around the mouth. Both are marketed in four pack sets. These are available for $6.95 from Stone Mountain Miniatures, PO BOX 594, Broomfield, Co. 80038 and most hobby shops and mail-order operations. - JIM BIRDSEYE * The Courier uses the Tobey Barrett Measurement [BM] System to simplify comparison of figure sizes. The number is the height in millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of base) to its eyes. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L=light, M=medium, and H=heavy. Thus, Hs will fit in with other Hs and some Ms, but not Ls.
