A Wargamer's Guide: Terry Gore of SAGA Magazine presents the third in a series of Guides. The first two were The Campaign for Gaul-451 A.D. and The First Crusade, 1097-1099. Selling for $7.50 from SAGA, 890 Janes Road, Rochester, NY 14612, this 53 page booklet is well worth the price. First a fairly detailed overview of the political background, the campaign and the historical battles are given. Then rules for wargaming the campaign are given using DBA rules, and finally the three major battles are given as scenarios in terms of WRG. The whole is rounded out with a painting guide and an extensive bibliography. This coverage is exactly the way I would like to present Mini-Themes in The Courier. Well done, Terry.
