I didn't do any miniatures gaming while at Cold Wars, which is somewhat sad. I did get into a five player game of Pit. This is an old card game where you trade commodities in a free for all setting. First person to get all 9 cards (or 8 cards and the special Bull market card) wins the hand and gets the points. If you get the Bear Market card, you lose points. If another player wins and you hold the Bull Market card, you lose points. It was an entertaining little game, although I must say the cards were a tad thin and had been given a beating by the end of the game. I will also note that it is a pleasure to play a card game without worrying about the collectibility value of the cards. More Cold Wars 2002
