Entire year: The Upper Creeks conducted several raids against Patriot outposts in Georgia Mar 18 : Quintan's Bridge, New Jersey. Loyalist and regulars under Simcoe defeat Patriots. Jun 1 : Cobleskill, NY. Loyalist (60) and Mohawks (140) under Brant defeat a Patriot force(60) w/ blockhouses. May : Ft Randolph, Kanawha Valley, KY. Shawnees raid the area. Jun 30 : Alligator Bridge, Florida. Florida Rangers with Creek warriors were surprised but defeated a Patriot cavalry force under Gen Robert Howe. July 3-4 : Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania. A combined Loyalist (Butler's rangers + Johnson's Greens) (300) and Seneca force (600) under Maj John Butler destroys a Patriot Force (300 militia + 60 regulars) under Col Z. Butler. Jul 18 : Andrustown, New York. Mohawks under Brant burn the settlement. Aug 31 : Indian field, New York ?. Queen's Rangers and Mohawks ambush pro-Patriot Oneida warriors. Most of the Oneidas are killed. Sept 13 : German Flats, New York. A force of Johnson Greens (300) + 150 Mohawks under Brant burn the town but inflict only a few casualties. Oct 6-8 : Unadilla, New York. Patriot raid on Iroquois town. Nov 11 : Cherry valley , New York. A raiding party under Cpt Walter Butler including Butler's Rangers (200)+ Senecas (500) + a few Mohawks (50) under Brant attack a Patriot settlement + a fort with 2 cannon and garrisoned by the 7th Mass. (350). Brant could not control the Senecas who attacked the town rather than the fort. The garrison refused to sortie out to help the settlers. Nov 19 : Spencer's Hill, Georgia. Lt Col McGirth and some Rangers and Loyal Refugees ambush a Patriot column under Col Baker. The Patriots retreated. Nov 24 : Midway Church, GA. British troops under Prevost attack Patriots under Col J. White. Dec 17 : Vincennes, Indiana. British force including 400 Indians from the Ohio Valley tribes capture the town.
