These figures (Blucher, Gneisenau, York and Kleist) are very nice 25mm figures, which I rate as M27 on the Barrett scale although the rating is difficult due to the bowed legs of the riders. They come in two pieces with the horse furniture on the horses. The introduction of personality figures adds a great deal to the miniature battlefield and shows just how sophisticated we have become as a hobby. The two figures I received, Gneisenau and Kleist, were well cast and anatomically correct. They were well animated and the uniform details are very nice, open coat, medals, map, buttons and cuffs. The horses are animated and reasonably proportioned if a little heavy in the face but very satisfactory as mounts for the two generals. These figures will make excellent additions to any Prussian army. Available from Pendragon USA 1549 Marview Dr. Westlake, Oh. 44145, the pack of four generals runs $14.00 or about 3.60 each.
