Over the course of the last year there has been a quite migration of experienced talent from the ranks of TSR. Lester Smith, an experienced designer who created such games as Dragon Dice, Planes of Chaos (for Planescape), and many others, has left the company to join forces with Tim Brown, former head of Creative Services Division at TSR, at Comico. TSR has also lost several other talented designers over the course of the year, including Zeb Cook, Jeff Grubb, and Bruce Nesmith. With the mass exodus of talent underway, one can only wonder if this exodus is simply a case of several brilliant and creative people seeking new horizons for their talent or a case of exceptional talent being lured away by companies who are more appreciative of their talents. Regardless of the reason, it is evident that TSR has lost some of its most experienced designers. Only time will tell if the new group of talent is up to the task of maintaining the high creative standards necessary to keep TSR on top. More Industry News
