Still on the subject of films, many of you may have read Ben Weider's interesting book entitled Assassination at St. Helena Revisited, describing and analysing the last days of Napoleon on the island of St. Helena, and putting forward the hypothesis that the man was murdered. This story has been taken up by Warner Brothers, who are considering making a film based on this book, and starring Jack Nicholson in the title role! This actor has an intense interest in all things French, and he bought the film rights to the 1982 version of the book. His ambition has always been to play the part of Napoleon, and it now looks as though his wish will come true. It should be an interesting film! More Napoleonic Newsdesk Items:
