From the summer of this year there will be a new publishing imprint dedicated to maritime history - Chatham Publishing, founded by the editorial team that ran Conway Maritime Press. This new imprint will launch a wide range of books which will be of interest to general and maritime historians, enthusiasts and all those with an interest in ships and the sea. Finely produced and well-illustrated reference books will form the core of the list and the first titles will include Nelson's Favourite: A History of the 64-gun Ship Agamemnon; the first two volumes of the Chatham Pictorial Histories which will use contemporary paintings, prints and drawings to depict naval warfare before the age of the camera; and Nelson's Battles, a highly detailed narrative of Nelson's great victories along with a study of the revolutionary tactics he adopted. If you wish to know more about these new books contact Chatham Publishing, 1 and 2 Faulkner's Alley, Cowcross Street, London, EC1M 6DD. More Napoleonic Newsdesk Items:
