Hunnic trap in the sky
Second ALGY WWI air game using planes painted by Vittorio. The scenario is a hunt for the german reconnaissance aircraft.
The Hunnic host (I was playing the British… 🙂 ).
The Braves in the sky, even if their planes are obsolete.
More Braves on their Spads.
The Spads rush for the reconnaissance aircraft.
But in the meanwhile the germans engage the old planes…
Full melee in the sky!
The old british planes are damaged very easily by the german pilots.
Engine hit!
In the meanwhile the reconnaissance craft slips away..
One Spad pilot manages to tail the german craft, but the hunted is a hunter! In the reconnaissance craft there is a Veteran pilot, and a killer machine gunner !
The machine gunner is a devil, manages to completely distract the Spad pilot, which loses control of his craft and crashes to ground, after many dreadful seconds of spinning.
The second Spad pilot, a veteran, manages to taill an Albatros.
But is immediately strafed by the german ace, he seemed to be on the other end of the table five seconds ago! The plane is heavily damaged, the engine fails…
The cunning Hun goes back to base unscathed!!! Next time the british will do better!
