REDOUBT ENTERPRISES just keeps rolling out castings to add on to its already amazing range of 28mm ACW models. I checked out some of their Infantry and Zouaves in charging and loading poses (AC111 to AC116) and I was completely knocked out. This stuff is beautiful. The castings' animation are well thought out and dynamic, while the sculpting crisp and relatively flash free.
I have several favorites, here are just a couple: The first is the Zouave running, holding on to his haversack so his vittles don't fall out (I've been there!) (from pack AC111). The other is a chap in the midst of getting a round from his cartridge box (from pack AC116). Great detail with the clothes and kit you can actually see the mouthpiece to his slung trumpet emerging from beside his grounded rifle. Each pack comes with 6 figures and retails for around $10.00. Great stuff and highly recommended.
