Review by Curt Campbell
Michael Gustar from QUARTERMASTER GAMES was good enough to provide me with some resin terrain samples from Falcon Figures from UK. R21 15mm 6" Straight Earthwork. This is a one-piece resin feature with excellent detail. The planking and gabions are clearly defined and the earthwork front slope is deeply textured to help drybrushing. R25 15mm Redoubt (2 pieces). These are designed in the same style as the straight earthwork section. There is a one-gun firing platform with a timber-retained firing aperture. The gun platform is a bit shallow but a bit of plasti-card and milliput would extend it nicely. The two pieces fit together nicely to form a redoubt or the straight earthwork section can be inserted to make a nice Vicksburg-like defensive line. R20 15mm Wheat Field (5 pieces). This is a really neat little bit o' terrain. The wheat field is in five modular pieces which can be arranged in various patterns. The texture of the field is ingenious in that the trodden-down detail allow the 'seams' between the sections to be camouflaged. Very well thought out. THE QUARTERMASTER
