Hidden CardsExperienced gamers only (Eric) Keep the deck hidden so the enemy doesn't know how many cards are left in your deck. When you flip a card don't announce what the card is unless you act on it. (Obviously, this means you have to hide your cards in the first place.) If you have to play the card then you must announce the card (command indecision, etc). This is a great way to keep your Brilliant leader cards hidden. If the enemy doesn't know how many Musket Reloads, Melee Resolution, or Infantry Move in Open cards have turned up they may be less confident in exposing their units. Rallying TroopsHouse rule by Pat However, it was suggested that depending on how well the leader performed in rallying the unit they may get one or two stands returned to the unit. For example, if the dice roll is doubled one stand would be returned, if the score is tripled then two stands would be returned. To us there seemed some logic in this as the losses in PK are not meant to represent casualties but a reduction in effectiveness. Therefore it could be argued that when a stand is being returned to the unit it represents the success of a leader in rallying back some of that lost effectiveness. More PK House Rules
