Schuldt studied and visited the chateau to design the 15mm scale buildings of Hougoumont. Figures displayed include Battle standard miniatures made specifically for Hougoumont, Old Glory French, Battle Honors, and Imperial Miniatures.
Above right, the French are stopped by the tall walls surrounding the garden, but troops enter the orchard at right.
At left, the south gate and gardeners house were well protected by defenders along the garden wall.
Right, British Guardsmen close the north gate after defeating the only French attack to break into the chateau.
