A Wargame

The Bilabuga

by Malcolm Wright

Player Briefing:

That fool Bugawan thinks he can steal British ships full of school girls and get away with it. You know it is unlikely he will succeed in defeating the RAJ.

As a contingency plan you have been in touch with agents in India with a view to setting up a discount Bugawani Carpet Warehouse in every capital city of the RAJ Empire. Your spies have told you that travelling with the RAJ expedition now anchored off the coast of BUGAWANISTAN, is a wise lady of the RAJ, who knows all about marketing. (No, not the street marketing of BUGA-AL-ABAD).

If the stupid BUGAWAN can defeat the RAJ, then so be it…you will not lift your hand against the Bugawan's your fathers and their fathers before them have served. But if defeat looms, you have a contingency program at hand. In which case you will use your secret meetings with the luscious Lucinda Lumley, Head Prefect of Miss Polkinghorne's School to effect. Many times as you have rolled on sample carpets with her, satisfying her young English lust, she has expressed admiration for the quality of the looms that produced such soft fibres. You were quick to point out to her that the rugs were woven from a wool only obtainable from goats grazing in the lower pastures of UTHERBUGAWANISTAN and that you held the rights of distribution.

Overwhelmed by your manhood, the sweet Lucinda informed her advisor Lady BURNS-MULLIGREW of the commercial opportunities existing in the emergent economy of BUGAWANISTAN. Now, having received final confirmation via trained homing Buzzards, you know the good lady is with the RAJ expedition. All you have to do is get her to visit your carpet warehouse and victory is yours. Wealth beyond all dreams…and the luscious Lucinda to share your bed into your latter years.

You command the wild native troops of UTHERBUGAWANISTAN…. The promise of a wonderful future as the new BUGAWAN hangs before your eyes. Can you grasp it???
