Notes Authorized strengths are for typical divisions. Inf. Infantry; Mtn: Mountain; Mot. Motorized; Div. Division. Mountain divisions varied among themselves, and the authorization for the 2-regiment 2nd Mountain Division is shown. Light divisions also varied from one to another; the authorization for a division with two recon battalions is shown. Both the 1st and 3rd Light Divisions lacked one recon battalion and thus each had 70 ARVs instead of 131. Vehicles: Armored Vehicles are broken down into two categories: (armored) reconnaissance vehicles and tanks. Weapons - LMG: light machine gun; HMG: heavy machine gun; Inf Gun: infantry gun, a direct fire weapon organic to infantry regiments; AT. antitank; AA: antiaircraft.
