Wargames Foundry continues to supplement their releases for the Crimean War in 25mm scale of the "larger" variety. The Russians now have artillery figures and mounted troops wearing the greatcoat. The British are reinforced with Highland infantry and superb mounted figures for both the heavy and light brigade, The Turkish army is covered as well. The most recent additions, received for review, include the French line infantry who appea rin their dress uniform. These castings are exquisite in detail and certainly come highly recommended. The French include two officers, an ensign, drummer, bugler, and casualty figures among the twelve poses. Of course, like the British troops, the French soon took to wearing field garb and one could use the figures from the 1870 conflict for the later stages of the Crimean War, Nevertheless, one can hardly resist having at least a battalion or two of these troops in dress uniform. The entire range is available from Pendragon Miniatures, 1549 Marview Drive, Westklake, Ohio 44145. Reviewing Stand
