Three different sets of 1/2400 scale aircraft were received for review. These aircraft are designed for use with the 1/2400 scale ships that GHO has released to be used with the popular modern rules set, HARPOON. HUS 10 SAC Bombers, contains nine B-52s and 6 B-1 Bs. HUS 11 land based strike aircraft has 12 F-111 Aardvarks, 6 F-4G Wild Weasels and 12 f-15 Eagles. HSN 12 "Soviet" strike aircraft, has 8 SU-25 Frogfoot bombers, 10 SU-27 Flanker fighter/bombers, and 10 Mig-29 Fulcrum fighters. These planes can be used as land based naval air for any of the new Republics. They are also the same types that will likely be used on the carrier Kuznetsov whoever finally ends up in control of her. The planes have enough detail so you can tell them apart. A few small pieces of flash have to be removed. Before use the planes will have to be based or one good breeze and there goes your airstrike. They are a nice alternative to the cardboard counters that come with Harpoon for use as aircraft. List price is $5.95 and the planes should be available from most dealers. If you have trouble finding them write to GHQ, 2634 Bryant Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN 55408. More Courier Reviews
