This is another of the Purnell Specials. Same format and also 64 pages. Also crammed full of good black and white and color photos and drawings. The title is slightly misleading as there is one important type of German fighting vehicles not covered: Tanks! Evidently those are covered in a separate volume. This volume covers armored cars, armored half-tracks, self propelled guns, assault guns, panzerjagers, jagdpanzers, flakpanzers and a few odds and ends. The coverage is even and thorough. Well worth the $1.95 price tag. These volumes of the Purnell series are also available at Sky Books/Bill Dean Books. Book Review
