VI Corps at Chancellorsville

Order of Battle: Union

by Steve Wilson

UNION BRIEF & OOB

VI Corps is the largest corps in the army with many Veteran units. It is well equipped and is especially strong in artillery.

With the battle of Chancellorsville raging in the distance your Corps is moving forward to Hooker's support. Your progress is being blocked by various Confederate rearguards. If you can punch through nothing can stop you trapping Lee between yourself and Hooker.

The enemy facing consists of a single well handled brigade with some artillery. There are reports of further rebels moving up in support, concentrating around Salem Church. However, as Lee is currently engaged with Hooker he is unlikely to be able to spare many troops to block your advance. Lee's men are battle hardened veterans but are poorly equipped and supplied. They now face a Union army twice their strength led by a fighting general. Their time has run out!
