This short-lived unit wore a simple uniform in Napoleon's 'livery': green chasseur surtout without piping. It had silver trefoil epaulettes and aiguilettes (on the right) as well as a silver-braided waistcoat of red. The green Hungarian breeches had silver trim; and black Hungarian boots with black trim and tassel were also worn. The shako had a lozenge plate (stamped with a crowned eagle), chin-chain and peak binding, cords and pompon of silver, and a white plume surmounted the pompon. All belts were black with red edges, a silver eagle plate, chain and pickers on the pouch belt (the pouch also bore a silver eagle). A curved sabre, carbine and a pair of pistols were carried. The pointed-ended shabraque and cylindrical valise were green with silver lace. Officers were distinguished by wider lace, an epaulette, an aiguilette, and shako lace of twisted bullion; and a white feather plume over the pompon. Imperial Guard Cavalry
