Gdansk, Poland, is to be the site of this major European event on 28th - 30th June, celebrating the history and heritage of the Gdansk region of Poland, in particular the battles of Gdansk in 1807 and 1813. The occasion will include military encampments, parades, siege re-enactments near Grodzisko, guided tours, plus an Arms, Armour & Book Fair. On the 30th there will be a conference entitled Fortifications of the Napoleonic Period in Poland ( the conference language will be Polish, but English French and German translations of the papers will be available). The event will be organised by the Association for Old Gdansk Military Architecture, with the support of Gdansk City Council, Pomeranian Province, Gdansk International Fairs and Gdansk International Arms & Armament Fairs.
