The Battle of Corunna Anniversary, 12-19 January

By the time you read this the anniversary event will have taken place, but this is just one of a number of re-enactments taking place in Spain this year, to commemorate the Peninsula War. The Corunna Society of Great Britain is very heavily involved in the presentation of these events. The programme for the remainder of the year is:

Corunna, Galicia, North Spain

26-28th July: The city of Corunna is hosting the Tall Ships Race and this event will co-incide. A major re-enactment and civic commemoration of the battle of 1809 with an historic camp on the coast. There will be battles, parades and wreath-laying ceremonies.

Cacabelos, Leon, Spain
