The 2nd (Queen's)
Re-enactment Regiment

Vacancies exist in our ranks for privates.

We are a regiment in the British Division within the Napoleonic Association, which re-enacts battles of the Napoleonic Wars, not just in Britain, but also all over Europe. Our aim is to be as authentic as possible and we base ourselves on the early Peninsular War period.

The regiment can lend new members spare uniforms until you can purchase your own. The first thing you will need is a shotgun licence and either a blackpowder or explosive licence, depending on your Constabulary. This will allow you to carry a Brown Bess musket and to be issued with cartridges.

During the winter months we usually meet at least once a month for drill sessions, which new members have to attend before taking part in one of the Association's battles for safety reasons.

However it is not just battles and square bashing, we also have social gatherings, where we meet for drink and a chat. Also our film credits include, The Big Breakfast, BBC's Pride and Prejudice and SharpeS Regiment and a programme about Waterloo for American television.

So lads (and Lasses) if you are looking for an exciting hobby, then step lively, enlist in the 2nd (Queen's) Royal Regiment of Foot by contacting:
