Flag was three horizontal bars of red over blue over white. Cockade was outside-in: white-blue-red.

M1912 Infantry Uniform. Though text indicates a khaki color, much of the artwork shows a olive drab tint. Some units still wore the old black harness. Forage cap was of a unique brimless shape with a large portion of the crown showing. Khaki-Olive Drab = Tunic, Pants, leggings and forage cap; Dark Brown = wool blanket roll; Brown = hide shoes, legging straps and harness; Collar patch was in facing color; Infantry = Madder red, engineers = cherry red, artillery = black, Cavalry = Dark Blue. In the winter fur caps were often worn.

M1890 Infantry Uniform: Dark Blue = Coat; Gray-Blue or sometimes Black = Pants; Dark Brown = wool blanket roll; Black = harness; Infantry wore Dark Blue Forage cap with a madder red band and officers and senior NCOs had a green band. Artillerymen wore black caps and engineers wore red caps. In the winter fur caps were often worn.

Reserve and Levy Troops: Brown = Coat and pants. Caps were forage caps in a branch color. Infantry = Gray-blue, Cavalry = Dark Blue, Artillery = Black.

M1890 Cavalry Uniform: Light Blue = Tunic and Cap; Black = Boots and Harness; Bright Red = Pants; Dark Blue = Collar patch and epaulets

M1890 Guard Cavalry Uniform: Dark Green = Tunic; Light Blue Pelise w/ Black fur trim; Madder Red Pants w/ yellow side stripe; Black Busby w/ yellow top-bag or Dark Green Forage cap w/ yellow band; Black = Boots and Harness. I am not sure if they wore the M1912 uniform during the Balkans War. M1912 Cavalry Uniform used the Infantry Uniform but with Dark Blue cap or cap bands.
