Flag was a vertical tri-color of red fly, yellow center and royal blue staff section. In the gold section was a centered multi-colored coat of arms on a white background. Cockade was outside-in red-yellow-blue

Most units including all Dorobanze were still in the M1890 uniform. The first four Roisori Cavalry were in M1912 uniforms but the other six regiments and all the Calarasi regiments were still in M1890 uniforms.

Facing colors were infantry = red; Dorobanze = Light Blue; rifles = mid-green; border guards = Light Green; artillery = ; engineers = . Shoulder patch was arrow shaped.

Old 1890s Uniform: Dark Blue = coat; Dark Gray or Black pants; Black = Harness and boots; Cap was a dark blue Austrian style kepi for most units. Some units wore the forage caps. Moslem Dorobanze wore a red fez.

Rifle / Light Infantry units all still wore the old style uniform based on the 1890's Austrian Grenz uniforms : Black = round hat, pants, harness and boots; Brown or Dark Gray coat; Mid-Green facings on collar patch, cuff and epaulets.

M1912 Uniform was in the test phase in 1913 with limited distribution. Gray-blue = pants, tunic and cap. The forage cap was distinctive in appearance with high points on the caps front and rear. Brown haversack and Harness but some still had black harnesses. Collar patch and piping in facing color.

Old M1890 Cavalry Rosiori Uniform. Hussar style Uniform. Black = Boots, piping and Busby with regimental colored bags; Red = Tunic; White = pants and Busby plume. Regimental facings were 1st = yellow, 2nd = white, 3rd = green, 4th = light blue, 5th = light green, 6th = dark blue, 7th = light brown, 8th = lilac, 9th = pink, 10th = light gray.
