The facing colors for the tunics varied depending on the regiments.

INFANTRY

Tunic : White

Formal Grenzer Regiments still wore a brown color

Collar and Cuff colors varied depending the regiment

    Crab Red: 20, 35, 67 & 71
    Bright red: 15, 34, 44 & 74

    Pink: 5, 6, 13 & 38
    Sky Blue: 3, 4
    Light Blue:19, 29, 32, 40, 72 & 75.
    Cherry Red: 73, 77
    Dark Blue: 11, 24, 33 & 51
    Dark Yellow: 2, 22, 27 & 31
    Sulphur Yellow: 16 & 41
    Light Orange: 42, 59, 63 & 64
    Red-Brown: 17, 55, 68 & 78

Trousers: Light Blue (often a dark shade of cobalt) for both German and Hungarian units.

Shako: Low tapered with peak.

Overcoat: Dark Gray with a white armband and collar patches.

Backpack: Hide color

Haversack: White.

Belts: White

JAGER

Tunic and Trousers: Mid-Gray

Collar and Cuff: Grass Green for all batttalions

Hat: Small brimed black top-hat with a large plume plume.

Leather Equipment Belts: Black

Overcoat: Dark Gray with a white armband and green collar patches

DRAGOONS

Tunics: White

Trousers: Light/Colbalt Blue

Leather Horse Equipment: Black

Regiments 7 and 8 dressed in Dark green Tunics and Trousers

    Facings:
      1: Black
      2: Dark Blue
      3 & 7: Dark Red
      4 & 8: Poppy Red
      5: Dark green
      6: Light Blue

Helmet with leather comb and often a black waterproof cover.

Belts: White

HUSSARS

Coat & Trousers

    Dark Blue: Rgts 1, 3, 5, 8, 9 & 11.
    Light Blue: Rgts 2, 4, 6, 7, 10 & 12

Facing colors:

    Scarlet: 4, 5, 6 & 8
    White: 2, 3, 9 & 12
    Grass Green: 1, 7, 10 & 11

Most units wore a facing color shako but some units had adopted a small fur busby.

CUIRASSIERS

Tunic: White

Trousers: Light/Colbalt Blue

Facing colors:

    Dark Red: 1, 3
    Black: 2, 6
    Dark Blue: 7, 10
    Light Blue: 6, 12
    Grass Green: 4, 9.
    Poppy Red: 8, 11

Dragoon style helmet

No Cuirass

UHLANS

Tunic and trousers : Dark green. Collar patches and cuffs in Facing color.

Square-topped Czapka: Facing Color.

    Dark Yellow: 1, 6
    Crimson: 11, 12
    Dk Green: 2 , 7
    Light Blue: 5, 10
    White: 4, 9
    Poppy Red: 3, 8
    Bright Red: 13

ARTILLERYMEN

Tunics: Dark Brown.

Collar patches and cuffs were red

Trousers: Light Blue (closer to mid/colbalt blue)

Leather Equipment is Black
