Ford Accused of
Using Nazi Slave Labor

In an article some time ago, in the Detroit News, they reported that Russians forced to work in the Ford Motor Company's Koln, Germany assembly plant in World War II, say that auto maker owes them for the profits of that 'slave labor' and plans to sue the automaker in the United States.

Ford says it is not responsible because the plant was taken over by the Nazi government, which used it to build trucks for the war effort. This was posted by the BBC website which also reported that New York lawyer Mel Weise was the leader of an effort by many survivors of the war to start a class action suit.
