Epilogue

The Parchuk brothers, though ruthless, are not dishonest. As they promised, they hand over Julie to the characters and let them take the plane (if they want it). David and Jim even offer the characters a place in their bandit gang, saying that they plan to subjugate all the surrounding colonies and found a new nation. If the characters are interested in the offer they have an opportunity to become officers, gaining a share of all raiding booty and possible power in a future colonial combine. If not, that's okay by the Parchuks too. If they continue in the direction they were originally heading, the characters pass by the boulder where Dianta was crucified. With the demon dead she has had the power to pull herself free, and has left the area to hunt other demons who have dared to presume themselves gods. Inscribed on the boulder, however, is a new message beneath that written by Charybdis. It reads simply: "I am proof that He has not." More Fight
