Howard Whitehouse informs me that a booklet of pre-set scenarios for his SCIENCE VS. PLUCK; OR, TOO MUCH FOR THE MAHDI Rules Set is in the works. Also in preparation is a booklet overviewing all of the African Colonial campaigns, entitled BATTLE IN AFRICA, Lastly, he's working on a uniform guide for the African Colonial Campaigns. I've seen some paste-ups from BATTLE IN AFRICA (it looks good), and I'm helping with some of the research for the uniform booklet, so I have a biased opinion of it. Victorian Military Society member Ted Brown has added another Anglo-Zulu War Battlefield Tour for this year. Scheduled to depart London on 9 October, the tour will visit lots of Zulu and Boer War battlefields and also have some optional "adventure walks", to the tops of Majuba Hill and Hlobane Mountain, and the bottom of Isandhlwana's Fugitives' Drift. The cost is tentatively set at 950 Pounds (about $1,600) based on departure from and return to London. For more information contact Ted Brown, Anglo-Zulu War Tour, c/o 67 1/2C Port St., Stirling, Central Scotland, FK8 2ER, Great Britain. Phone: 0786-78979. Please enclose an IRC. The Preziosi Army lists mentioned last time are very inexpensive, and, if memory serves me correctly, cost 50 cents for the first page, and 25 cents for each additional page of the same list. A mere pittance for the information one can get from the lists!
