CAVALRYArt. 28. In time of peace there are 14 Regiments with 4 Cuadros de Regimiento ( these are I believe to be militia or reserve units that are basically at half strength with each squadron having only 54 troopers, these can be placed onto a reduced footing (en pie reducido) which brings each squadron up to 78 troopers when needed.)
Each Squadron is divided into 3 Sections, each Section has 2 Platoons and each Platoon has 2 Squads ("Escuadras"). Art. 30. The Regiments are to be numbered from 1 to 14. Art. 32. In time of War, the Regiments consist of six Squadrons. Art. 217. These two additional Squadrons will be commanded by 2nd Captains, the other two 2nd Captains will be placed with the Regimental Staff Corps to become 2nd Adjutants. Time of War
