review by Lynn Bodin
After a long wait, Stone Mountain Miniatures have finally released their follow- up range to their already popular 15mm French Foreign Legionnaires/Arabs. The new British and Native troops are every bit as nice as the earlier French and Arab figures. Sculpting and detail are good, anatomy is a little of the slender side (a welcome change from the more "robust" 15mm figures offered by other manufacturers). Of particular interest to many gamers may be the fact that Zulus depicting the same regiment are available in a variety of poses with different weapons. No more will all of your in Gobamakhosi warriors look alike! There is also variety amongst the British, especially the officers and sergeants. I especially like the Sgt. Majors (LBN 110), standing with hands on hips and wearing three different types of headgear; helmet, pillbox and glengarry. A tip of the hat (if you'll pardon the pun) to Stone Mountain. More Reviews
