Originally Frei Korps figures could only be purchased through the parent company in Northern Ireland. Now the line is being imported and in some cases manufactured by Platoon 20 USA. Known primarily for their excellent line of 15mm Seven Years War figures Frei Korps now has several new lines on the market. This review looks at their Mexican War line, but they also offer ancient Romans and a wide variety of Eastern European steppe people from the Dark Ages. The Mexican War figures are very good offering both good animation and fine detail. The depth of the line is also impressive since it includes mot of the troop types that fought in the period and a wide selection of support vehicles. Frei Korps is currently being imported by Platoon 20 USA and will be manufactured in this country by the company at a later date. RATING: Animation,.7, Anatomy,.6, Detail.8, Casting Quality,.7, Variety, .9, Total: 3.7. More Reviews
