These 20mm figures have been available to wargamers through the mail for some time. Stone Mountain offers only two lines: ACW` and ARW but they offer a very wide range of troop types and interesting scenery. This line is designed for the wargamer who is not looking for the stock figure to fill out an army. The catalog lists figures and heads separately so that you can achieve a high degree of variety in each unit constructed. This is especially nice in the two periods that they produce. The figures as a rule are thin and very clean making them both realistic and easy to paint. I was quite impressed with the ACW artillery crew which showed great variety and natural posing. This is a very nice line with its only major drawback being that once you invest in Stone Mountain other popular lines will not mix with the 20mm figures.
