Their latest offering is a beautiful model of this casemate ironclad sidewheeler. As with all Thoroughbred ships, this one is easy to assemble. Insert three vents, the smoke stack, and the flag staff into the pre-drilled holes, glue on the two paddlewheel covers and you are ready to paint. All of the other details - decking, grates, gun ports, etc., are already on the base model, well defined as with all of Thoroughbred’s models. A painting guide and ship statistics are included and designer Toby Barrett has added some notes on the sources used to produce the model. A great addition to an ACW navy.
