Armorcast makes a large range of 25/28 mm resin buildings and scenery. The samples sent include two Medieval/Renaissance period buildings that can be used for scenarios up to the present day. Of particular interest for skirmish gaming is the fact that the buildings are as detailed inside s out. The roof can be easily made removable when assembled and I would recommend it. These are very detailed and cleanly cast. One thing I found out the hard way -– follow the assembly instructions! The buildings go for $13 to $50, the sample in the photo was $16. Also received is a sample of their stucco modular buildings. These come in various sizes and can be used to construct multi-story buildings that are modern in appearance or they can be modified to fit in with Colonial Arab or Pueblo Indian/Mexican scenarios – very versatile. The prices vary from $11 to $30 with various expansion packs, destroyed walls, etc also available. Feudal Japanese buildings are also well represented as are bridges, fortifications, etc. – a complete line! There are also roads and rivers and a great lake that I can’t wait to paint up. The Catalog is replete with painting tips and has detailed photographs. I note in the catalog a 1/48 M113! I believe that this is the start of a new line of WWII and modern vehicles for use with 28MM figures. I don’t have a cost for the catalog, but I recommend getting one from Armorcast, 3200 Dutten Ave. Ste 424, Santa Rosa CA 95407. http://armorcast.com http://armorcast.com. Highly recommended!
