15mm Early Franks

Wargames, Box 278, Triadelphia, WV 26059 has supplied samples of the new Essex Early Franks (actually 16mm sole to eyeball). The range includes two mounted and three foot types. Cavalry (EFAl) is armored in chain mail and conical helmet, plus shield and cloak. He carries two javelins and is mounted on a prancing horse. The foot warriors (EFA3) were represented by two types. Both have spear and round shield and are helmetless. One has long hair and chain mail, the other a Frankish top knot and cloak. Ile EFA4 samples included two long haired unarmoured warriors in different poses with axes and round shields. The unarmoured archer's are represented by EFA5. Price is $2.98 per pack.
