A fairly new English company publishes this. It consists of a booklet of 18 pages plus cardboard covers with a pocket in the cover that contains a 5"x 8" paper Combat Order Chart and two 5"x7" cards of uncut ship cards printed in red, blue and black on white. It is, in effect, a naval miniatures game with cardboard ships provided. The letters of the title stand for, I think (it never says), "motor torpedo boat", or in American parlance, PT boat. MTB (the game) simulates the 1942-43 battle for supremacy in the English Channel between the British and German small boat navies. Three types of battles are provided for: British boats vs. German convoy; German boats (E boats and R boats) vs. British convoy; boats vs. boats. The game scale is 1", or 25mm, represents 10 yards. One knot of speed is represented by 5mm of movement. This sounds like an interesting game and the price is a very reasonable $2.28. It, as well as other games, is published by Tabletop Games, 11 The Green, Ruddington, Nottingham, England, and they are currently searching for American distributors.
