GDW produces this very handy item for the amateur, or professional game designer. It is a pad of 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of white paper with a black grid of small hexes ( a little less than 4" across). Actually each sheet is a full 22" x 28" hex-sheet reduced to 8 1/2 x 11". Here is just the thing for sketching out ideas for mapboards without the bother of expense of having to use the full-sized sheet - until you know you have it right! It would also be just the thing for hidden movement games: Draw a reduced version of the game's mapboard for each player to plot his moves on, while a referee keeps track of both sides on the real board, and let's them know whenever they make contact with each other. No doubt there are many other uses. A pad of 100 sheets sells for $1.50 or 200 sheets for $2.50. Order from Game Designer's Workshop. More Reviews
