This scenario is a continuation of Triptych 1 and played on the terrain in Map 2. It will only take place if the French have not broken through the Russians before the Force arrives at the Kneega river.
The time of arrival depends on the throw of decimal dice, and is as follows:

Players familiar with statistics will realise that the chances of arriving are based on the bell shaped curve of a normal "population".
No communication is permitted between General Newerovsky and General Chuikov before the former arrives on the East side of the river Kneega.
