Price 2.500 Ptas. A review from Jaime de Miguel:

A very innovative and interesting board wargame introducing a whole series for the SCW, beginning with Madrid's front and Battle of Jarama.

It is presented in a plastic bag including two huge maps which depletes a very clear terrain in the hexagonal traditional way. Almost a thousand colour board counters representing the well known drawings from SCW Ospreys, by Mr.Chappell, and some Frank Cappa's photographs.

Four pages of historical background full of photographs, 13 pages of medium complexity rules and seven more pages of detailed examples and situations clarifying the game.

Interesting possibilities like limited intelligence, changes of initiative, field works, etc. mixed with a bunch of rules on command and the possibility of rescheduling the command lines and the assignment of certain Divisional and Army Corps units.

Good aircraft and artillery rules, plus many other for weather, supply, morale, engineers and sappers, recon units, etc.

Finally, there is a detailed army list of the involved units, plus the historical deployment through the different scenarios. - Twelve different scenarios, both historical and some "what if..." gives plenty of games.

The rules have just been translated into English by BANDERA, and quite probably the set will be available very soon through them.
