Here we have a great collection of deep and very well documented "special" issues published by "DEFENSA" magazine (Defence Ministry) full of information on political, millitary and anecdotes of the war in Euzkadi (Basque Country), from the uprising of the leftist Unions on July. 19th 1936, and the late coup made by the rebel nationalist army on the 21st ( a late arrival at the "Alzamiento") through a detailed description on the different, units involved in the campaign: Basque nationalist, Popular Front parties, UGT and CNT unions, etc, and the Falangist and Requetes aside the army on the other.

Orwell to denounce them) between the nationalist basques and the libertarians. the role of the nationalist basque church in the war, and the full list of priests shot by Franco troops. Unfortunately it is only in Spanish, but even if you're only interested on "pictures", the magazines are full of never seen photographs, with lots of AFV's , military units uniforms and weapons, and copy of original documents.
