Having marched through the night, the Prussian army has got past Haynau, from whence - after a halt of several hours - it has continued its march towards Liegnitz. General Nadasdy is keeping them under close observation. At half past ten this morning, His Royal Highness took position at the head of the camp in front of the Regiment Kaiser. We sang "Te Deum" for the victory gained by the Russians over the Prussian army. After this ceremony, the principal generals of the army attended a great feast attended; Marshal Daun dined with His Royal Highness. At 6 o'clock this evening, the army gave a feu de joie of three salvoes of musketry; 50 discharges of cannon was preceded each salvo. The cavalry did not mount up for this ceremony but allowed their horses to rest after the fatigues of the march yesterday. Journal of Horace St. Paul 1757 Part 6
