At noon, the order was given for the Austrian army to march by the right in the same order in which it had encamped. It marched in three column formed of the two lines with the baggage in the third. The army made camp in the plain in front of the village of Hohendorf, where Headquarters are established. The Right rests on the village of Kroitsch and the Left is towards Goldberg. General Sprecher with the Corps of Grenadiers covered the left flank during this march.

The Reserve Corps, who had been in front of Braunau, encamped near Pilgramsdorf.

During these operations, His Royal Highness sent a troop of cavalry to reconnoitre the environs of Liegnitz. The commander of this troop reported that a regiment of Prussian dragoons and another of hussars had encamped close to the walls of that town.

General the Comte de Montazet of the French service arrived this evening from Vienna. There he had received the thanks of Her Majesty the Empress Queen, who gave him a very beautiful ring mounting a diamond of great value.
