Greenhill Books are to publish Sir Charles Oman's epic seven volume "A History of the Peninsular War". This is an absolutely necessary purchase for any serious Napoleonic enthusiast. Volume I is due September, with volume 2 in October of the is year. I phoned Greenhill to get an idea of pricing, but was told that it had not been fixed yet?! However, rumour has it that it could be around £ 30.00 per volume, but it may be less. As any existing edition in good condition, being rarer than hen's teeth, can cost £ 450 or more, I expect demand to greater than the number published.
