Toby Barrett was kind enough to send along a few samples of his broad range of ACW naval miniatures. Those pictured (top to bottom) are the CSS Arkansas TS04, the USS Essex TS49, the CSS Virginia 11 TS52 and a Floating Battery TS51. All are cast in white metal at 1/600 scale.
Some assembly is required, but comes with an excellent information sheet, which not only gives proper instructions and diagrams but also provides a bit of history behind each vessel.
The detail is quite impressive, and I appreciated the little considerations such as the brass rod and paper flag included with each model.
I've never gamed ACW naval before, but these little gems just may get my feet wet (sorry).
