The NDU is an outgrowth of the National War College and Independent Colleges of Armed Forces running 10-month sessions. They have 30 simulations (22 in electives) modelling how various systems and people act at a strategic level. The technology is starting to solve a variety of integration problems, for example, how you get the top people at the National Security Strategy and Policy level interacting with interagency education of executives at the FBI, Department of Commerce, Department of Labor, and so on.
