This game is finished. At four maps (each 22 by 34) it is intended to not just cover the Vicksburg campaign but all actions from Memphis to New Orleans. Using the Lee Invades the North system, it includes a new section of rules on naval warfare along the Mississippi. The Port Hudson campaign will be included as well as Grierson's raid, Baton Rouge, the first campaign at Vicksburg, etc. The scale is two miles to the hex and divisional level. Ships are represented by individual counters. All in all, this is a design that I have played for the last 5 or 6 years off and on. Originally, it had been planned as the start of a series of games that would eventually do the entire Civil War at two miles to the hex. Right now, I have no intentions of doing that, but if this is well received I would like to publish the three map eastern front game that covers all the campaigns in the east. I have been playing this since Lee Invades the North and have played it at a number of Origins. Writing about it now, it could another playing again. More Updates
