The Roman Army 76 B.C. Pompey is Roman Commander w/guard of 2 HC (2 subordinate Commanders without guard) Pompey should be rated as a "2" Commander (Normal) as are his subordinates. The flank units must move as fast as possible to engage the Spanish while the center units cannot move more than half speed forward until they are engaged. The center units MUST move forward and cannot turn to face Spanish units which appear at their rear until after the first instance of hand-to-hand combat.
The Army of Sertorius 76 B.C. Sertorius is the Rebel (Spanish) Army Commander w/guard of 2 HC (1 subordinate Commander without guard). Setup on table as shown (subordinate commander). Sertorius should have ALL the beneficial Commander ratings (plus 1 in all melees, men follow, Charge no testing and +10 in all morale tests). His one subordinate is a "1".
