Subject must be on military history in the pre-gunpowder era. Citations must be written out in brackets after the sentence. I.E. [polyb. 5. 12. 34-35]. No footnotes. Articles may run between 2000 and 4000 words. They may be edited for brevity. Be sure to include a contact number, preferably an e-mail address. Disks in .txt format are preferable. Be sure to include a double spaced hard copy with the submission. Photographs may be included, preferably black and white, but well lit and sharp contrast color prints will work. No material will be returned to the writer unless accompanied by a SASE with the correct postage. Query letters should be limited to one page and include a short synopsis and why it should be included in STRATEGIKON.
